2019 Chevy Blazer Green Bay WI

In 1982, Chevrolet introduced a compact sport utility vehicle that would become a staple on the lineup for decades to come. In 1995, when the SUV entered its second generation, it got an upgrade to midsize status as engineers increased its size. But then in 2005, with the apparent death of the traditional SUV market, the Blazer was discontinued. Now, 14 years later, Chevy is reintroducing us to the nameplate with the 2019 Chevy Blazer in Green Bay WI, this time as a midsize crossover. The Blazer was one of the most iconic utility vehicles on the market for decades, so even though conventional SUVs began to die off, it was still a heavy blow to fans of the popular nameplate. Although taking inspiration and a name from its spiritual predecessor, the all-new 2019 Blazer is very much its own vehicle, a modern crossover mixing space and performance with efficiency and great content.

Considering this is the first Chevy Blazer in nearly 15 years, we can’t exactly focus on what’s new in the vehicle as the answer would be everything. As for performance, the new Blazer can be equipped with either a 2.4L 4-cylinder engine capable of generating 193 horsepower alongside 188 pound-feet of torque while achieving 25 miles per gallon combined, or a 3.6L V6 that increases performance to 308 HP and 270 lb-ft. while only dropping efficiency to either 23 or 22 mpg depending on FWD or AWD system, respectively.
