2018 Chevy Traverse updates

With plenty to choose from stand-out models like the Chevy Traverse are often chosen for their versatility and utility. A leader in its segment, the 2018 Chevy Traverse has seen multiple exciting updates to its design and features for the new model year.
Exterior design
Most noticeably, the 2018 Chevy Traverse has received a significant update to its exterior styling. By taking a look at the pictures displayed, you can get a feel for the new look of the Traverse. It comes with new chrome accents, as well as LED signature lighting and available D-Optic LED headlights.
New trim levels
For 2018, two new trim levels will be introduced for the Traverse: the RS and High Country. The RS is designed to offer a sportier option, with blacked-out exterior design cues such as black chrome for the grille and black bowtie. The High Country, on the other hand, is a luxury option, delivering Loft Brown leather appointments, suede accents and a power folding third row seat.
Engine Specs
In addition to its new looks and trims, the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse will be powered by a new 3.6-liter V6 engine that’s been paired to a 9-speed automatic transmission. This layout is expected to produce 10 percent more horsepower than its predecessor and offer an estimated 5,000 lbs towing capacity when properly equipped. The new RS trim will also have the option for a turbocharged engine that offers more torque than the V6 configuration.
2018 Chevy Traverse Release Date
