Bring Plenty of Chairs

Even with all the festivities and fun, sometimes you need a place to sit for a while! Folding chairs are a necessity for any tailgate party, so people can just and rest for some time. They don’t take up much space and you’ll always be glad you brought them!

Pack and Label a Cooler

This is fairly simple and obvious but it’s not a Green Bay tailgate party without some drinks! It’s best to bring multiple coolers and label them by what’s inside (alcoholic vs non-alcoholic coolers). Also, make sure you bring plenty of ice unless your tailgating in Green Bay in December!

Tons of Food!

The feature attraction of any tailgate party is the food! You can never have enough of it! Classic staples include brats, burgers, hot dogs and when it gets colder, a big batch of chili is perfect! Also, have plenty of snacks like chips, pretzels and, of course, cheese curds!

Tailgate Markers

If you’re tailgating in Green Bay for a Packers game, you won’t be the only one! Having a large identifier that is easy to pick out from a crowd, like a canopy or a flag, makes it easier for everyone to find your great party!

Games and Sports

Every great Green Bay tailgate party needs to have at least one football being tossed around! Other great tailgate games include bean bag toss, ladder toss and washer toss!
