What’s new in the 2020 Sonata?
With the Sonata getting completely redesigned, there are too many new specs & features to cover in just one blog, so we’re just going to highlight some of the most exciting! For starters, the Sonata is the first vehicle to utilize the new Digital Key technology developed by Hyundai. This new technology allows drivers to unlock, turn on the engine and even drive their vehicle without a physical key, as long as the car is connected to your smartphone.
Another Hyundai-first feature is the hidden lighting lamps on the front end of the vehicle. These lights turn chrome when turned off, completely disappearing into the design of the vehicle, but remain lit when turned on. Hyundai and Bose have embarked on a new collaboration and the first fruit of their joint labor is found in the 2020 Sonata. A brand-new Bose Premium sound system that features 12 speakers and a host of Bose technologies.
