Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Braking

Engineered to help drivers avoid colliding with vehicles or pedestrians crossing the street, the Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Braking feature is one of the newest additions to Ford Co-Pilot360™. This system will monitor for any obstacles ahead that may cause a front-end collision. To help avoid the accident, or minimize damage and injury, Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Braking will automatically brake for you if you don’t react in time.

Blind Spot Information System

Was that a car in your blind spot? To help you avoid accidents caused by vehicles hiding in your blind spot, the Blind Spot Information System is designed to recognize vehicles in these areas and alert you of its presence. To accomplish this, the respective indicator light on the side mirrors will turn on when a car enters this area. When in reverse, the included cross-traffic alert will warn you of people or cars approaching.

Lane Keeping System

The Lane Keeping System offers three primary functions. First, the steering wheel will vibrate if the system detects drifting. Second, minor steering adjustments will be made to help gently steer the vehicle back into its lane. Lastly, the Lane Keeping System will include a driver alert function. This system will track your driving patterns and will notify you with audible and visual cues that you are driving distracted.

Auto High Beams

At night, you may forget to turn off your high beams for other drivers. With Auto High Beams, the system will detect a vehicle approaching or in front and will automatically turn off as needed. After no vehicle is detected, the high beams will be turned back on.

Reverse Camera

You may not see small items or children behind your vehicle. To help you see if you are about to collide with a person or object while in reverse, the reverse camera will give you live footage of everything directly behind your Ford.
