New Features in the 2018 VW Tiguan
Volkswagen has always been the type to listen to its drivers. That’s why it’s no surprise that the brand has made some much wanted adjustments to its popular Tiguan SUV. The new 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan features an enlarged size and new features to offer an even more family-friendly driving experience than ever. Here’s what’s new for the 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan.
All Wheel Drive. While it may not be built to take on all of your off-roading thrills (you’ll want to check out the Alltrack for that), the new 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan will be able to offer better on-road security in snow, mud and water.
More Power. The new Tiguan offers a more powerful driving experience, putting forth 184 horsepower from its turbocharged engine as well as 221 lb-ft of torque for an engaging driving experience.
Bigger Build. As we mentioned earlier, the new 2018 Tiguan is bigger than its predecessor. The impressive new model is a whopping 10.6 inches longer than the 2017 model offering more interior space. Cargo space in the 2018 Tiguan is up 58% from its 2017 model.
Third row seating. Along with its longer build, the previously two-row SUV has expanded its interior to offer a versatile third row seat, making the Tiguan a viable option for larger families. It joins the VW Atlas as the brand’s 3-row seating options.
New Front Fascia. The 2018 Tiguan sports a new front fascia with a simple, yet sporty front grille that blends in well with its stylish headlights. The new look gives the Tiguan a bit more aggression to its persona.
