What Concepts Will Hyundai Debut at the 2017 SEMA Show?

The SEMA Show is always an exciting event for car enthusiasts. The premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world, the SEMA Show draws vehicle manufacturers of from around the world to Las Vegas for automotive fun. Many vehicle brands will debut new concepts for their vehicles to spark interest and create buzz. That’s why Hyundai is debuting at least three new concepts at the 2017 SEMA Show. Here’s a short breakdown of each concept and its unique modifications.

Rockstar Energy Extreme Off-Roader Santa Fe Sport 

First up is the creation of Hyundai and Rockstar energy’s partnership that is sure to grab people’s attention. Build to be aggressive and unstoppable, this Santa Fe Sport is unlike any before it.

Modifications include:

  • KMC 17-inch Machete off-road bead-lock wheels
  • Rockstar Performance Garage skid plates, Bumpers with Warn winch & Factor 55 Link
  • Yukon Gear and Axle Drive Train Accessories
  • KING, Coil-over Suspension and 2.5-inch Internal Bypass shocks with reservoirs

HyperEconiq Ioniq 

Next up is Hyundai and Bisimoto Engineering’s concept that focuses on efficiency gains and drivability. Hyundai and Bisimoto Engineering say they’ve taken Ioniq where they knew it could always go, enhancing various technical elements to make its design, efficiency, and aero state-of-the-art. Modifications include:

  • Bisimoto pulse-chamber exhaust system for enhanced volumetric efficiency
  • Bespoke eco low-friction PurOl Elite Synthetic Oil
  • Bisimoto Dream Aero Kit
  • Low-rolling resistance, high-silica tire

BTR Edition Elantra Sport Concept 

Last but not least we have Hyundai and Blood Type Racing’s concept to bring Elantra Sport to the competitive-circuit level of style and substance. The eye-catching concept enhances the Elantra Sports performance and design with improvements to the intake, exhaust, and intercooler technologies. Modifications include:

  • Torcon CAI intake and Pierce Motorsports exhaust system
  • Engine management custom ECU Tuning by BTR
  • Toyo T1 Sport tires
  • Pierce Motorsports sway bars, strut tower brace, and chassis brace
