Support Veterans with a Broadway Oil Change
In the week leading up to Veteran’s Day, Broadway Automotive will be supporting the men and women who have served in uniform by donating 50 percent of the proceeds from every oil change to two organizations that support veterans. Running from October 26 to November 9 at both the Military Avenue and Ashland Avenue locations, this oil change initiative is a way to say thank you to the men and women who have served and are serving. Meet Our Charities
By getting an oil change at Broadway this coming week, you will be able to do important basic maintenance and also support a great cause. We are hoping to raise more than $20,000 for the charities below, and we can’t make it without the help of the great Green Bay area community!
Student Veterans of America
Student Veterans of America helps military veterans studying at the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) and the University of Wisconsin Green Bay (UWGB). This organization provides the advocacy, support, and resources (including scholarships and programs that address the challenges of transitioning to college life) that help veterans excel in higher education and beyond.
4th H.O.O.A.H. Wisconsin
The 4th H.O.O.A.H. Wisconsin seeks to support active servicemen and women, their stateside families, and returning veterans with understanding, compassion, and empathy. This organization, located in Green Bay, proudly serves all branches, and seeks to offer a higher quality of life for our folks in uniform, simply because it is the right thing to do for those who sacrifice for us.
November 9 Flag Give-Away
In addition to every oil change going to support these two great causes, on November 9 Broadway has a special way to say “Thank You” to all the men and women who have served in uniform. Veterans who stop at one of our two locations on that Wednesday will be able to receive a free American flag. We will be working with the Y100 WNCY radio station for this event, and more details can be found by tuning in.
Here at Broadway Automotive we are extremely grateful for all the sacrifices that veterans have made to safeguard out country, and we love to give back to those who keep us safe. We hope that many people will support us in giving back, and get a great oil change at the same time!
