If you were at the recent Chicago Auto Show, it would have been impossible to not notice the attention that Volkswagen was getting. The brand attracted some serious foot traffic during the event, which seemed to be a great gauge of the interest that Volkswagen has gotten in general. We weren’t surprised, since we have a steady flow of consumers interested in our Green Bay Volkswagen vehicles.
In addition to the new Volkswagens in Green Bay we have at Broadway Automotive, the show was also a chance for the brand to show off some different models not yet available for sale. One such model was the limited edition Beetle GSR. This version of the Beetle was a straight throwback to the 70s with a yellow and black coat and some signature stripes on the hood and sides. Sold as a 2014 model, the Volkswagen GSR will produce an impressive 210 horsepower out of its turbocharged engine.
The new Beetle in Green Bay that we have on the lot now has standard output of 170 horsepower – an impressive number in itself considering the size of the car. But it isn’t generally the horsepower that brings consumers to the Green Bay Volkswagen vehicles like the new Bug. No, it’s more likely the outstanding value and unbeatable reliability that Volkswagen has become well known for providing.
