Volkswagen owners love their cars more than most (it’s true, we have
honest to goodness statistics to prove it). Whether they’re getting their
oil changed or road-tripping to national parks, VW owners and their cars
are having fun. That’s why we call them Pre-Loved. But sometimes they
trade them in for new VW models, which is where you get lucky. Of course
they all must go through our 112-point inspection before they can become
Certified Pre-Loved. And we back it all up with a 2-year/24,000-mile limited
warranty and 2 years of 24-hour Roadside Assistance.*
*The Volkswagen Certified Pre-Loved limited warranty is for 2-years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes
first. See dealer for details. Roadside Assistance is provided by Roadside America® in the United States. |
A few points to note. 112-Point
Inspection
112 to be exact. In order to become a Certified Pre-Loved vehicle, each
Volkswagen has to go through and pass all 112 points of our 112-point
inspection. We start off by rejecting any car over 5 model years old, or
with over 75,000 miles. Then we check each vehicle’s history by pulling
a CARFAX® History Report. If everything looks good, we subject the car
to the 112-point inspection, where we will scrutinize it and then scrutinize
it again, taking a detailed account of everything inside, outside and
under the car. If anything is amiss, we repair or replace it with genuine
Volkswagen parts. We would list a few highlights of the inspection,
but with 112 points, it’s hard to be brief. By the time we’re done with
these vehicles the only way you’ll be able to tell that they’re Certified
Pre-Loved is by looking at the odometer.
For the third year in a row we’ve won the IntelliChoice Best Non-Luxury
Certified Pre-Owned Program.* What does this mean? IntelliChoice is an
independent company that is committed to helping consumers make
better purchase decisions. So really it means that they think the Certified
Pre-Loved VW is a pretty good decision. Hey, we don’t like to gloat, but
we felt that this is something we should include, only because it might
help you make an informed decision. |
